We Thank Military Spouse Kara Acosta for her helpful insight and creativity.
VHS to DVD
We had our first California VHS to DVD transfer. It was a wedding VHS for a customer who was surprising his wife for their 9th Anniversary. We were able to take a snap shot of the couple from the video and use it to create a lightscribe label.
News
Windows 7 was released on October 22nd. You can find more information about Windows 7 here. We do not recommend upgrading to Windows 7 until the new operating system becomes more stable.

Updates and recaps on the Military Spouses Residency Relief Act:
-
May 21st - Senate VA Committee passes S 475
-
August 4th - Senate floor passes S 475
-
October 8th - House VA Subcommittee passes HR 1182 and reports it favorable to the full House VA Committee
-
November 2nd - House floor passes S 475 on suspension Bill heads to President Obama
S 475 was not brought up in conference for passing through as part of the National Defense Authorization Act.
The Military Spouses Residency Relief Act bypassed the full House VA Committee for a vote and went straight to the House floor for vote. The reason for this is because the bill was considered non-controversial.
Military Spouses Residency Relief Act Coalition worked very hard to make phone calls to request co-sponsorship through the senate and house. Because of their determination the bill has passed Congress.
Rikki reports the Facebook Page fans for the bill is now over 8200.
With all the work that Rikki has done with the Military Spouses Residency Relief Act Coalition she has started a Military Spouses Coalition. Rikki would like for Military Spouses to gather to discuss future ideas to bring up in Congress.
