Greetings from All In One Desktops

We hope that you all had a Wonderful Christmas!

All In One Desktops had an exciting month.  The All In One Desktops team taught two introduction to computer classes to Senior Citizens.  The Senior Citizens got a chance to use All In One Desktops Hasee computer for their class.  The two classes were held in the town of Virginia Beach here in Hampton Roads.  The first class was held at Bay Lake Retirement and the second class was held at Victoria Place.

Recap of Events This Month

The All In One Desktops team wants to say Thank You to Kira Carlson and the Bay Lake Retirement residents and to Dick Biondo and the Victoria Place residents.  All In One Desktops had a great time with all of you and we hope that we made computers seem less intimidating.

Helpful Hints

If you are having trouble seeing your desktop here are some helpful hints to help you fix that.

For Windows XP:

Right mouse click on your desktop away from you icons
Click on Properties
Click on the Appearance tab
Click the drop down menu under Font size
Click on either Large Fonts or Extra Large Fonts
Click on the Apply button
If you are satisfied click Ok otherwise click on the Font size drop down menu and change again.  Don't forget to click Apply before clicking on the Ok button.

For Windows Vista:

Click Start 
Click Control Panel 
Click on Ease of Access 
Click Ease of Access Center 
Under Explore all settings click on Make the computer easier to see
Under Make things on the screen larger click on Change the size of text and icons 
Click on the button next to either Default scale or Larger Scale
Click Apply
If you are not satisfied with the results then click Ok.  If you are not satisfied the click the button next to the other option.  Click Apply then click Ok.
