Video Review Of iOne-GX31
LCD Panel PC
Hello and Thank You for visiting Allinonedesktops.com. For those of you unfamiliar with what an all-in-one PC or all-in-one desktop computer is, what you see here is what you get! All it is, is a computer monitor with the guts of the computer built in behind it. There are no external cables or tower or desktop hidden under the desk or anything like that. It is all right here on top of the desk. It is a lot easier to use and simpler.
What we are reviewing here today is the iOne 945 Series. This is a 17 inch, silver model. It also comes in 19 inch and for businesses it has a touch screen option. It also comes in black and white colors.
We have installed here Windows Vista with an Intel Pentium Dual Core Processor and one Gigabit RAM.
Performance wise this computer does really well. The lowest score is 2.6 and 3.0 for graphics and gaming graphics. If you are buying a computer for a gamer that needs the latest and greatest graphics you are not going to want to buy an all-in-one PC. Go ahead and get them the latest desktop with the latest and greatest video card. Besides that it scores really well. It gets a 4.8 for processor, 4.5 for memory RAM and 5.6 for data transfer rate. This computer will easily handle any Internet or Office Applications and even do some video and photo editing with no problems at all. But I will let you see for yourself. I will play a quick movie so that you can hear it and see how good the screen is.
[Plays small video clip and while playing video clip] It has two speakers built in [points to where speakers are]. They are 4.5 watt Dolby Digital Surround Sound 5.1. It is a little bright in here but I think you can still tell the picture is really good. [Pauses to let rest of video clip play.]
As you can see the picture and sound is great! One of the big surprises about this computer was how heavy it is. It is 25 pounds. It has a really sturdy base on it and really rugged overall. This thing is definitely not going to tip over and you don’t have to worry about breaking it.
Another nice option is the wireless keyboard. As you can see it has mute, volume controls, pause, play, favorites and sleep option. Really well made along with the wireless optical mouse. Of course the wireless receiver is USB 2.0 which we have two ports right here [point to ports] by the power button. And you have another four USB ports underneath along with the Ethernet Gigabit connection for the Internet.
The optical drive [opens optical drive to show where it is] DVD/RW.
And of course this can be upgraded to the latest processor and right now up to 2 Gigabytes of RAM. One of the surprises to this computer is the power brick. This is a 1.6 pound power brick which is heavy duty but it does have to run this screen and the rest of the computer so it is pretty large and puts off a little heat.
Overall All In One Desktops gives this computer a 4 out of 5 stars and we are pretty impressed with it. Surprisingly enough this is one of the first all in ones that is actually made in America which is always a good option.
